Hey, I’m Katie, the owner and creative lead behind Bloom & Forage.

My work began with flowers many moons ago, but over time it naturally expanded into event management as I saw a consistent gap between beautiful design and the way the day was actually executed. I kept finding myself wanting to do more than deliver florals. I wanted to make sure my couples weren’t carrying the weight of their wedding day while also trying to be present and enjoy it. That realization is what shaped Bloom & Forage into what it is today, a space where planning, coordination, and floral design are offered separately, but work together in a way that makes your entire experience feel supported, seamless, and easy to move through instead of pulled in different directions.

How I Support You

Some couples work with me for full planning from the beginning, others bring me in for partial planning or coordination closer to the wedding day, and many choose to include florals so everything remains cohesive from vision to execution. No matter how we work together, my role stays the same: to bring clarity, calm, and cohesiveness to every moving piece. So nothing feels disconnected or overlooked, and so you can move through the process without feeling like you’re holding everything at once.

3️⃣ Three versions. Most couples don’t find out their coordinator wasn’t enough until they’re standing in the middle of their wedding day wondering why everything feels off. Three things I build into every single wedding I coordinate (or plan). That’s what sets Bloom & Forage apart. I’m not just checking boxes. I’m back there feeling every second of it with you. She walked down the aisle to Simply the Best and straight into one of my favorite moments I’ve ever witnessed. She stopped halfway to meet her parents, and I had to hold it together. This is what it looks like before anyone arrives. Table runners, garlands, baby's breath, candles, and then out to the ceremony site to build the arch and hand-design the welcome sign florals on location. It’s a lot, but this is the part I love. Hired as the florist. Ended up as so much more than that. The relationship I build with my couples doesn’t start on the wedding day, it starts way before that. 🌿 By the time I’m setting up your reception, I know your story, your details, your vision. Walking through the Castellanos reception at @pageofarms last night and seeing it all glowing… that’s the feeling no one tells you about when you get into this industry. 🤍✨ You’ve got 47 Pinterest tabs open, a spreadsheet you haven’t touched in three weeks, and a group chat that’s somehow making things worse.
